The last case filed by legal bandit James Minerve for Hummel was removed to federal court and dismissed with prejudice by Judge Charles Eskridge on Oct. 31, 2024. The property was then rescheduled for foreclosure on Jan 7, 2025. Then this case was filed, to stop the sale. However, Filis and the court have sealed the docket, in violation of the rules and laws. There has never been any sealing of the recent cases in 2024 and which were in HCDC before two different judges.

As expected, ancillary judge grants TRO to bandit lawyer Filis with no signed order visible on the docket, unlike other cases.

As LIT analyzes the January 2025 nonjudicial foreclosure listings, we note that the Hummels, a federal case dismissed late October 2024 is scheduled for January 2025 foreclosure. The Hummels were represented by Dave Medearis and DBNTCO by the Wolves of Foreclosure, Mackie Wolf.
Compare this to Francisco Garcia, another foreclosure by DBNTCO wherein Garcia was represented by Jeff Jackson and DBNTCO by Michael Hord – his home is also listed for January 2025 foreclosure, but his dismissed federal case was 9 months ago.
