U.S. Bank National Association, as Trustee v. Quinteros

(6:17-cv-00149)
District Court, W.D. Texas

JAN 25, 2019 | REPUBLISHED BY LIT: JUL 14, 2021

Motion for Attorney Fees and Declaration of Foreclosure Mill Lawyer Mark Cronenwett for Mackie Wolf, Dallas, Texas

After Judge Albrights outrageous acts as described in this recent LIT article, the same lawyer from the same foreclosure mill submits a motion for $15k in attorney fees for a default judgment on a property valued at $98 k (2021 valuation) and where nobody turned up from the family to defend a foreclosure of the homeowners estate after his death.

Considering the risk versus reward factor, the actions of Judge Albright remind LIT of all the recent judicial corruption cases where judges were caught taking monetary bribes for cases.

Here, while PACER remains a paid service, this allows much of what LIT uncovers to remain a secret due to the cost of entry. It’s another reason why access to court dockets should not be kept behind a paywall.

Hard on the Heels of the Owens case in Dec. 2018, a month later there’s another unchallenged Foreclosure case where Attorney Fees are granted by Judge Albright
