Zions Bancorporation Foreclosing on Gov. Abbott’s New Business Court Judge’s Home in River Oaks

Apparently, Texas Lawyer and Newly Appointed Judge M. Sofia Adrogue didn’t Advise Gov. Greg Abbott of Her Precarious Financial Predicament.

LIT COMMENTARY

DEC 26, 2024

Sten Gustafson and his spouse, Sofia Adrogue’s $1.1M mortgage is sufficiently delinquent that Zions has scheduled the home for foreclosure sale by auction on Jan. 7, 2024.

The appointed counsel, bottom feeders at Codilis and Moody failed to recognize that this news would raise public interest as the high profile appointment by Gov. Greg Abbott of Adrogue to the bench and swearing in ceremony in mid-November, despite her known  financial distress raises immediate questions as to her own moral integrity.

Did the Texas Governor’s office not perform any credit or background checks before appointment of private lawyers to these judicial positions?

We’re sure there will be a rapid cleanup of this highly embarrassing situation for the Texas Government and the Judiciary.

It appears that LIT has now reason to proclaim this as “Sten Gustafson and Sofia Adrogue’s River Oaks Home Foreclosure Day”.
