LIT UPDATE (2024)
At the end of 2022, SDTX Federal Court Judge Rosenthal entered final judgment. The wolves clearly did not seek immediate foreclosure and the Cadena’s have privately refinanced some 9 months later, in Sep. 2023.

Born and raised in Reynosa Tamaulipas Mexico, Israel struggled to make a living for himself and his family since the age of 5.
He sold anything from packs of gum to his services as a shoeshiner. He worked as a telemarketer, sold newspapers, encyclopedias, life insurance, and furniture.
Israel fed his sisters and brothers with $6 a week as his maximum wage from 1976-1980.
As Israel watched the struggles of his family and the poverty that surrounded his town, he committed himself to be a better man for his future family by working hard. After finding an opportunity to work in the U.S at the age of 18, he applied for a visa and moved to Houston by himself.
All of his friends and family were miles away from him; he had no one he knew by his side and yet he studied at a Biblical College while surviving by making donuts and painting homes.
Israel used his talented skills as a painter to form his own company that he named Cadena’s Painting. It was a symbol of all he overcame as a child to get to America and earn citizenship in the land of dreams. His dream of becoming a better man still needed much work, but he had finally taken the first step as the business owner that he longed to be.
Cadena’s Painting started out with a crew of 2. Israel and his wife, Sandra, sanded, caulked, primed, and painted entire houses by themselves.
Cadena’s Painting is still managed by Cadenas Family’s who looks for quality and good services to be done for clients.
Quality is allways a requirement for crewmen., supervisors and office personel. help is allways there from Mr. Cadena’s wife and the help of his children, Israel has helped many homeowners transform their homes through our interior and exterior painting services.
Israel invites you to get to know his company and the people he works with by allowing us to provide you with our excellent service.
