Jeremiah DeWayne Arnold was born on April 26, 1971 in Houston, Texas to Robert DeWayne Arnold and Barbara Ann Gainous Arnold. Known as “Jerry” by family and friends, he was baptized at an early age and maintained his faith throughout his life. Jerry attended Roberts Elementary, Hartman Middle School and Sterling High School.  He enjoyed playing the saxophone, football and art.

On August 1, 2024, Jeremiah DeWayne Arnold entered the realm of eternity.  He was preceded in death by his father, brother (Randy Wade Arnold), nephew (Stephan Arnold),    uncles (Bobby Lee Gainous, Vincent Perry Richmond, Charles Hodges, Russell Hodges, Albert Hodges, Waddell Hodges), grandparents (Ardell Hodges and Robert Arnold) and aunt (Mary Katherine Gainous).

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Barbara Ann Gainous Arnold; brothers, Robert  Arnold (Cindy), David Arnold (Jackie), Dwan Cross (Anna); aunts, Cynthia Eastman (Eric), Sandra Griffin (John), Adell Hodges, China Arnold; uncle, Johnny Richmond (Detra); nieces and nephews, Sad’e Arnold, Shequilla Sanders, Nivea Sanders, Chase Sanders, Chantionette Arnold (Marcus),
