Equitable Tolling and Abandonment Doctrines Affirm Bank Foreclosure

Here, the district court properly applied the doctrines of equitable tolling and abandonment and correctly concluded that the limitations period had not expired when Jorrie filed her quiet title claim, says Fifth Circuit.

In the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals decision,  Jorrie v Bank of Mellon NY Trust 

“The district court properly applied the doctrines of equitable tolling and abandonment and correctly concluded that the limitations period had not expired when Jorrie filed her quiet title claim. For these reasons, we AFFIRM the judgment of the district court.”
