GALVESTON COUNTY:
In 2020 Riley case suspended a 5-year sentence that would be revoked in 2025 as a result of the violations and arrests of Riley and Lehman in late 2024. It was for these reasons, on Friday, Feb 28, 2025 Monica Riley was sentenced to five years in jail.
HARRIS COUNTY:
In 2022 Riley case suspended a 10-year sentence that would be revoked in 2024 as a result of the violations and arrests of Riley and Lehman in late 2024. Will Harris County follow Galveston, and sentence her to the ten-years for the same violation, or will they bail on justice and protecting citizens from dangerous felons, once more?

On Oct. 2, 2024, Lehman was the Complainant against Monica Riley, who would be arrested for POSS CS PG 3 <28G. 🔥knows his role in all of this, can y’all figure it out from the charge/bond sheet when 3 weeks later both were high on meth with their baby? https://t.co/CvKnKXQtlM pic.twitter.com/MWppTu8Vpv

In Texas, “POSS CS PG 3 <28G” stands for “Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3, less than 28 grams.” Penalty Group 3 includes substances that have accepted medical uses but still have the potential for abuse. Some common drugs in this group are:
- Certain prescription medications like Xanax, Valium, and Ritalin.
- Anabolic steroids.
- Some barbiturates and sedatives.
Possessing less than 28 grams of a Penalty Group 3 substance without a valid prescription is considered a Class A misdemeanor in Texas. This can result in penalties such as up to one year in county jail and fines of up to $4,000
