After 4 years litigatin’, Randy Sorrels walks in carte blanche, apparently replacin’ Samuel Webb’s attorney of record without notice or even a substitution notice on the docket. Under the authority of a sitting judge, pro se Tami Craft, he signs off on her non-suiting the case without prejudice to refilin’ on March 31, 2023. The remainder of the case and any parties left would be DWOP’d shortly thereafter, with the case ending on May 25, 2023.
As an interesting fact, you may note that before she became a judge, she was a court appointed mediator for auto accident cases by her judicial colleague in Conroe, LaShawn Williams and also right beside her, Lesley Briones. Craft’s auto accident mediation skills are as good as Judge Cory Sepolio’s dad, who obtains his mediator referrals from Judge Carter.
Meanwhile, in Court 189 Randy Sorrels, former State Bar of Texas President also magically appears unannounced and without authority as “lead counsel” for another pro se lawyer, this time Bob Kruckemeyer of a The Kruckemeyer Law Firm, which did not exist until May 11, 2023, in a case we’re directly involved in. Forget the rules of civil procedure, they don’t apply to lawyers who are friends of the court.
There’s a major problem when there’s all these civil cases by a sitting Judge (Tami Craft-Demming) and a lawyer (Randy Sorrels) in our case is chattin’ away with the judge as a civil litigant.
