In his “day” job, Robert J. Kruckemeyer is an AV-rated, experienced trial attorney whose practice has been dedicated to commercial and personal injury litigation in state and federal courts, and in arbitration and before administrative agencies. He prosecutes as well as defends lawsuits involving contract actions, corporate dissolutions, products liability matters, oil & gas matters, banking, real estate, landlord/tenant disputes, securities, negligence, fraud, DTPA, RCLA, unfair competition, copyright infringement, commercial transactions, trade secrets, patent, probate, RICO and international transactions. He has first chaired-jury trials with recoveries of over $1 million and has negotiated settlements in a multitude of cases for recoveries in the millions of dollars. On the flip side, he has defended clients to take nothing judgments or nuisance value settlements when the opposing parties were seeking millions of dollars in damages from his clients. He has obtained injunctive relief in various matters for his clients, and successfully defended against injunctive relief being entered against his clients. Kruckemeyer was named Texas Lawyer Litigator of the Week in 2012 for his representation of the Greater Houston Football Coaches Association in a 3-week jury trial. After the case, the jury forewoman made a personal donation to his client association.

Bob enjoys serving the United States, Texas, and his local community. Among many other service roles, he serves as an Advance Associate for The White House, Executive Office of the President and Vice President which he will talk about at the Pachyderm lunch. In that position, he has served President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. He has also served as an Advance Representative for President Ronald Reagan and Vice President George H. W. Bush, President George H. W. Bush and Vice President Dan Quayle and as a Senior Advance Representative for President George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush and Vice President Richard B. Cheney.

Bob also served as an advance representative for the 1999 and 1995 Texas Inaugural activities, and served the U.S. Department of State Office of Protocol during the 1990 Economic Summit and during the visit to Houston of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

On the state side, Bob served on the Texas Education Agency Campus Distinction Designation Committee for Academic Achievement in English Languish Arts, having been appointed by former Governor Rick Perry. Governor Perry also appointed him to Humanities Texas which approves and administers grants.

He founded the Houston Dynamo Academy’s Academic Mentoring Program to ensure academy players maintain academic eligibility and gain college acceptance, and has leant his talents to other charitable and conservative political causes.

Bob is married to his wife Peggy. They have three sons, two of which are lawyers, and one who practices law with his dad.

Paceline Equity Partners, a firm launched by seven executives who previously worked together at private-equity investor Lone Star Funds and its affiliate Hudson Advisors LP, has closed its debut fund at $350 million.
