Real Scumbags Series: Schutza and the Avni Slum Lord Foreclosure Litigation

It’s a Real Scumbag versus another Real Scumbag in this ongoing dispute between a sanctioned lawyer and slum lord, stay tuned for updates.

Sanctioned Texas Lawyer Jerry L. Schutza faces 3rd Disciplinary Case, this time filed by Avni

In our article titled “Real Scumbags Series: Who is Admonished Texas Lawyer Jerry L. Schutza?“, lawyer Schutza faced 3 disciplinary cases, one of which involves Avni. Here, we detail the facts of the underlying litigation and the State Bar complaint filed via the Commission for Lawyer Discipline.

We’ve started with the PDF below from the Commission, detailing the facts about the case(s) and recommend you read this first to obtain an overall understanding of the basics of the case.

We do wish to note, however, that the Avni family, also known as Kaminetzky are constantly litigating or facing charges in court and are proven slum lord landlords ( we have found in excess of 50 orders and opinions in Texas on a perfunctory review), but that’s the type of client who Schutza has chosen to fund his revenue stream over the years.

The Avni Case is Ongoing and Has Now Been Referred to the Same Judge in Shutza’s first disciplinary case. As at today’s date a default has been entered in favor of the Bar and Shutza’s objected. A hearing is pending re ultimate discipline to be rendered.
