LIT COMMENTARY & UPDATES
NOV 14, 2024
And here’s why citizens:
It took Shelley Hopkins of BDF Hopkins just shy of one year to file a motion for summary judgment in the earlier case. https://t.co/UaDXkABKZA pic.twitter.com/idi97ctQpQ— lawsinusa (@lawsinusa) November 14, 2024
NOV 14 UPDATE
Hinshaw double down on their nondisclosures of past litigation in their motion for summary judgment and where counsel for Ford has included Bandit and sanctioned lawyers Clay Vilt and Ray Shackelford. That only confirms the ochlocracy and circlin’ of wagons around the legal community.
UPDATE
No movement, which most likely means that the home will be relisted for non-judicial foreclosure in October 2024.
RECAP
No removal by Hinshaw for Selene Finance.
After reading the Petition (surprisingly, not sealed), the parties don’t include WILFSB as there was an assignment from WILSFB to USBank after Ford’s last case and have included Selene as mortgage servicer.
Of course, Hagger doesn’t disclose and neither do the Ford’s, about the very recent stop foreclosure litigation with Wilmington and the dismissal WITH PREJUDICE.
There’s no mention of the past litigation either in Hinshaw’s response, which is very much a general denial (template).
