OIL STATES INDUSTRIES INC DBA ACUTE TECHNOLOGICA vs. AMEGY BANK, A DIVISION OF ZIONS BANCORPORATION, N.
(Court 190, JUDGE BEAU MILLER)
JUN 9, 2022 | REPUBLISHED BY LIT: JUN 9, 2022
JUL 12, 2022: AGREED JUDGMENT, ORDER SIGNED – ORDER SIGNED AWARDING ATTORNEY FEES
You will note Wells Cuellar, another Texas law firm and violator, in this Garnishment case as well.
There’s an affidavit of service on file and then there’s an answer, June 22, but the PDF is corrupt and fails to download, conveniently.
It has the appearance from the visitors to the docket that Judge Beau Miller condones law breaking as he is most certainly aware of LIT’s notices.

Texas Attorney Grant Harpold of Buck Keenan LLP
Harpold has been registered with the State Bar of Texas since 1998 and is Board Certified, but as a Partner in the law firm, doesn’t want to adhere to Texas Debt Collection Laws.
We decided to go to Tennessee @TNattygen and compare Texas Finance Code with their own Debt Collection Laws and it appears to LIT that TN mirrors Texas, as far as the interpretation of law firms as debt collectors. $130,000 Judgment pursued by Grant Parker Harpold of Buck Keenan LLP. Section 392.101 of the Texas Finance Code prohibits a third-party debt collector or credit bureau from engaging in debt collection in Texas unless the third-party debt collector or credit bureau has obtained a surety bond and filed a copy of the bond with the Office of the Secretary of State. Buck Keenan has not complied with the Secretary of State.
p.s. Hanszen LaPorte LLP is not registered as a debt collector either.
