LIT COMMENTARY AND UPDATE

Dec. 22, 2023 MAR 7, 2024

Mar 5, 2024: 5th Cir. IFP Appeal Dismissed as Frivolous

Chemeka’s home was sold in a nonjudicial foreclosure to RYSE Investments, LLC a REI entity owned by a pharmacist and HAR realtor, Shajuiet M. Weaver  on September 8, 2022.

The cases below show what happened after the nonjudicial sale, which would all be dismissed for lack of prosecution, thus allowing Chemeka to remain in the home.
